My great grandfather, James Barnes, donated the land for the church. I was told that Uncle John Brown was the first pastor. Both are included in this list. The church was Freewill Baptist. Great Grandfather Burl Brown entered the land and gave it to my great grandmother Catherine Brown Barnes, James' wife.
