Note from Kay Koonce: A correction has been made, after Eudocia Martin, you will find a little Infant of William A. & M. V. Chandler- the dates should read Born 1882 - Died 1883 rather than 1862 & 1863.These are the dates that Mollie Puckett had questioned and if I had gotten into my Genealogy, I would have realized the dates were too early.  I went back to the cemetery Monday and chalked it some more and found the mistake.

Emmaus Cemetery is located in Lamar County, Al. Directions from Vernon- Take Highway 17 north to Beaver Creek Road , turn right and go 3.08 miles to Emmaus Road to the left and go .06 miles.

The land for the Cemetery is thought to have been donated by Richard and Sarah Duncan Hankins.
