James William Raines, son of Hiram Raines.

James was born November 1855 in Walker Co Ala. to Hiram Raines and his 1st wife Phoebe A. ?

James married Charlotte [Lottie] Mooney.

Their 1st child Lucian HIRAM WAS BORN AUG 1881 IN WALKER County Alabama. He married ROSA? and had at least two children,  Lottie and Minnie.

They moved to Monroe County, Mississippi in 1883 and there their 2nd child ,Anna B. was born Sept 1884.

They  moved back to Walker County before their 3rd child ,Ada Pearl was born July 1888.

By June 1900 they were back in Monroe County,  MS [1900 Monroe Co Census}, where their last child. Milly J.,  was born in 1902.

Ada Pearl Married L M. Ramage December 10, 1911 in Monroe Co Miss. she died 1957 and he died 1940. They are buried in the Wiygle Cemetery in Armory Ms. Itawamba County.

James and Charlotte both died in 1927 and are buried in the Keys Cemetery.
